If you’re in the St. Joseph’s neighborhood to check out the progress on our construction of Nine+Eighteen, you should definitely make a stop at English Ivy’s for brunch, lunch, dinner, snacks or drinks.
The atmosphere is phenomenal, the food is affordable, the staff is attentive and the restaurant’s weekly specials are out of this world. Hello $5 bloody mary’s every Saturday and Sunday until 3pm! The menu is incredibly diverse and includes breakfast foods, salads, flatbreads, burgers and other sandwiches, wraps, pasta and more.
We highly recommend you try the ‘bag lady’ at brunch, which includes two buttermilk biscuits with bacon sausage patties, potatoes and two eggs cooked to order. Yum! And the tater kegs are also a must-try—tots filled with cheese and bacon goodness. Be sure to save a little room for their delicious array of desserts.
Although we haven’t yet been, we’re hearing rave reviews about the restaurant’s Bag Lady Bingo. Other popular events include the Big Gay Brunch. How fun is that?
Ivy’s scores extra points for being a gay-friendly restaurant. As one Yelp reviewer put it, everyone is welcome, as it’s a place where you could also bring any conservative family member and they would be comfortable.
